LGB Wagon chassis part needed.

Hi guys, I've just had a 4010 wagon delivered but its got a damaged swival bogie that the axle sits in. Has anybody got a spare I can beg for or know where i could get a replacement at sensible money?

Thats a different piece I think. It doesn't have the little claws that my piece has. The claw fits over and slides on a rail behind the buffer beam. And the draw bar looks like it might be longer on mine??

I've just looked at two of my 4010s
One is in original condition, and the other has a much latter underframe fitted.
The difference you refer to doesn't prevent you using the newer swivel unit; in fact the newer underframe still has the mouldings where the retaining plate screwed on.
Look like the early one was over engineered and was "cut down" to save matirials and assembly costs.

Yep, I've updated older wagons using the newer single axle trucks.

Usually because of the older style coupling, to which you can't fit a hook. I have hooks on both loop couplings....
