LGB V52 Motor died?

Should be a straight swap..
*might* have slightly different shaped contacts, and the plastics moulding might be a different colour.

I have swapped-out a few, and not really had a problem with any..
I have had trouble with contact strips, and pickup, so do give it a quick check.

its defitly woorn out.. get a new motor.. idealy, a motor block should pul 1/2 a amp..

I shall be order the above motor soon then.. Been needing to order a few small bits anyway but couldnt justify the postage.

It's amazing how my late 80's U class is still running great with original motor and this has had problems after only a few years.

it can be down to over greaseing, oil ect, or wear.. or a combination of all .. if it was me, id replace both motors.. and keep the older, good "one" as a spare for a single motor loco..

I've had the other motor out as a comparison and it looks as good as new. The good one seems untouched, whereas the dud motor block was swimming in grease. The previous owner must have thought he was doing good im sure.
