Lgb train not working

I bought an Lgb train 21910 DCC fitted to #3 , now I don’t have DCC just analogue . The train went round once all fine then stopped and made a loud clicking noise ?
Any ideas what’s wrong .?

Possibly a split-gear, and the motion has locked-up?

The 'clicking' is the teeth of the gears grinding.

Is that the one that you've just bought from Rails of Sheffield?

Sounds like a drivetrain problem, as Phil says - as you've only just got it, I reckon it should go straight back to Rails as faulty, for them to either fix it or refund you (including your costs for posting it back to them)...

Sadly, the little Field Railway locos are never as robust as the other LGB stuff, especially in the drive train area.

Obviously talk to them first..

But they can be a little 'delicate'. I have had a couple of nightmare-jobs, with the Feldbahn series of loco's.
