LGB Street Car problem

Is there any way of wiring the decoder to the tracks with nothing else connected to test it that way? i.e. with nothing else, no bogies or anything, just the decoder board with two leads direct to the test track?

I Nether thought of that..... Sadley the street car has gone home with its owner but i covered most things i could think of.....

A big thank you to Steve for taking the time to check out the street car and to everyone else for your valuable advice and assistance; all very much appreciated. Next stop, Brian @ Glendale!

Kevin, I converted the streetcar to working overhead, on mine I used modified Bachmann trolley poles, now if you are using MTS/digital, just have them not connected to the power ie dummies. If anyone wants a different colour scheme try Atlantic City, also the window spacings are correct and the cars run on regular 4ft 8 1/2" track. (New Orleans are broad gauge).
