I've recently acquired one of these second hand and noticed a bit of an oddity.
On my other Saxon bogie coaches, both LGB and cheapo Chinese, the rooftop Heberlein brake cable guides are offset from the roof vents. This makes sense to me as it would permit an uninterrupted run for the cable. However on the van all brake guides and vents are in line in the middle. Is this an error by LGB or a previous owner or am I guilty of a misunderstanding of the way the brake works?
