Apologies as I'm sure this has been discussed elsewhere but I can't find the information I need.
I've also read online copies of the LGB instruction manuals to no avail.
What is the approved method to change from serial to parallel function operation on an MTS 3 or late parallel MTS 2 system?
Yesterday I managed to do this on a mates' system when demonstrating a decoder installation I'd performed. However it was by pure luck and I may not be able to repeat it!
He had specified parallel only operation, however only function 1 appeared to work regardless of the button pressed. I guessed this was an indication that the controller was set for serial.
The dark recesses of my memory came up with the idea of pressing both the F and 9 buttons simultaneously for a couple of seconds. This seemed to do the trick. However I'm now unsure if it was the zero rather than 9 button.
My questions are:-
What is the approved method of achieving this?
What other "hidden tricks" are achievable?
Where may I find official documentation covering the above?
