Well in spite of some mixed reviews at it`s initial launch I decided to buy an E10 from Garten Bahnen in Berlin.
It`s one of the factory recalled locos with 8 wheel pick up and a factory 25 km test.
Externally it has LGB written all over it with with a decent paint job, crisp printing of decals and a good level of detail. Even the non working pantographs look the part.
While fitting the Zimo decoder I gave the wiring a quick once over and whilst not as heavy gauge as we are used to from LGB it certainly appears up to the job.

With the permission of his Highness I think a test up the Pootank Pass would be enlightening.
