It is time I upgraded my Ballenbergs to digital.
They both have the "Direct Digital" sticker on the base.
I am looking for recommendations as to which decoder with sound would be best? Massoth or LGB or 'other'?
Ease of fitting will be high on my list of priorities!
I use MTS3

I would say massoth Keith, the massoth sound on mine is Great!
As to fitting i think it was a pain, as with any decoder that goes into this loco

Hmm that is what worries me, it is the main reason I have held off.
I was hoping that recent cards might have made life easier.:-
