Just throwing this out there. Has anyone used or know of someone who used a LGB 65019 Mogul motor/gear block in a kit bash with a Bachmann 4-6-0 loco for example? Or any other locomotive body?
Hints and any ideas are appreciated.

Yes, I used one to build this, which is described in a thread elsewhere on the site. The LGB 65019 was described as a "gearbox" and I believe only available in the American market. It's now discontinued, I think, which is a great shame as I could use a couple more of them

I came across one on Ebay "previously owned" just not used much if at all. Anyway I think it will be a great project to work on like yours was.

Here is what I did with a Bachmann Big Hauler, On board battery, 2.4GHh Tx/Rx, ESC.

Hi there RailwayManiac and thanks for the kind comments. If you search under my name you'll find the thread - it was the first one I ever uploaded here. I've also built a Sharp Stewart 2-6-2T on the same mechanism, and that's described here also. They're very nice mechanisms, but prototype choices are quite limited by the small wheels.

Sometime ago on this forum someone posted a model utilising a LGB 2-6-0 chassis with a big mauler body to create a US style 2-6-2

Thanks for all these explanations ! And the video is very impressive too ! At the end of it, I remember when I was walking along the track of the Pemberton Tramway ! A great memory !
