LGB 21791pick up strips

Would anyone have a pair of pick up strips for the LGB Corpet Louvet engine #21791 going spare?
These are the two spring strips that connect all the plunger wheel pickups on each side and transmit current from the wheels to the motor.
In the LGB spares diagram they are listed as #107 on page 7 on the Trainli site.

Do you mean Pick up skates ? If so, I have some that you are welcomed to.

No they are the brassy things that connect the skate wires under the bottom plate. I expect he would be looking for someone that has stripped that all out after a Battery conversion.

Thanks for the reply Jon. Yes, as in the pic I’ve posted, it’s the long silver spring bits that connect all the brush plungers. This is the bit that is usually stripped out when doing a battery conversion…well mines the other way around! I’m converting back to DCC. So, If anyone has a pair of these in their scrap box, please let me know and I’d be only to happy to cross their hand with some folding stuff for them.

Interesting..
I remove skates and the brushes, but leave the rest, for just such an eventuality.

Skates and brushes are 'consumables' and also add a small amount of drag.
Internals are notoriously difficult to source, so I would leave these. - They also help support the 'pins' that are connected to from above.

It’s your lucky day. I dismantled a U class loco & I’m sure those bits are left in the box. Send me a message with your contact details & I will have a rummage in the box. There are other bits available as well.

The loco I’ve got has had them removed. I’ve made some brass ones up, but they’re not quite right and probably a tiny bit thicker causing even more drag…that doesn’t do the decoder any good at all.
