LGB 2019 RhB

Yes, I was wondering how that would work.... will the whole centre bogie slide laterally like the centre axle on a Piko 6-wheel coach?

Only hypothetical curiosity, since thankfully I don't "do" Swiss!

Jon.
looking at the pictures, I guess the body will pivot on the central bogie. Almost like two separate locos. Bet it has not got three motors - that would be fun.
I would imagine the insides will be much the same concept for swiveling as the Bemo one is, likely 3 Bogies connected with the 2 Body Parts tangental in the middle with flexible or sliding parts to disguise the joint. Likely this will be what the prototype is like, though getting that through R1 it will be interesting to look at the gap on the Outside of the curve. The inside gap on the Inside of the curve will be challenging as well on R1. But we must assume that Marklin/LGB have nailed it.

The Ge 6/6 II almost makes me want to start an RhB collection. What an amazing model.

Stunning Keith! I can't wait to get my hands on the LGB one..

Do it! Do it! One of us... one of us... ;)

LGB 'rubber-ruler'.. So until we get it, who knows?
Both in the english and the german press, LGB has been pretty adamant this a scale model. I've read and seen enough that I'm convinced the engine will be the correct length - the width is still in question in some people's minds.

Thanks Keith! Just what I needed - to be reminded that I want the refurbed square headlights that KISS offered... that LGB is not.

I carnt wait for the green one..

Not a radish bahn guy, but...thats a wonderful loco!

Decided I couldn't wait Mike. I also put in a pre-order with my favorite supplier. I'll just have to get a green one too when it comes out. It's only money.
