Hi everyone,
Like a few people I tend to keep a careful look out for second hand LGB locos to add to collection (now have 2 Whirlygigs) and whilst I will get round to fitting MFX/DCC fitting them all eventually (when get brave enough to fully rewire) I am still having to regularly replace the small incandescent screw in bulbs.
Just seen mXion does LED versions for 5-24v (so don’t think resistor is needed like the original bulbs) - I’ve ordered some and will have a go at replacing incandescent bulbs (LEDs are warm white colour - wish they did the traditional yellow colour)
