Lazy Grange Bay 3...a new start

Doesn't that happen with all cars?
I haven't noticed it for a while - the last one was a Matra-Simca Rancho when I went through some deep water and the water came in through the hand-brake slot in the floor

Oh, and the kit-built GTM Rossa, cos the removable hard-top/body join was badly designed - being a fibreglass tub, it was easy to drill some holes in the floor :nod:

I drilled holes in the boot, and foot Wells to let the water out...

New Street lamps arrived from China, replaced the duff ones..20230424_210944.jpg20230424_211031.jpg20230424_210925.jpg20230424_210829.jpg

Certainly tremendous modeling, but the third picture gave me a bit of a "Hitchcockish" chill. Like "something" I wouldn't want to meet was about to come around the corner to the right. MIght be the blue light. The back gardens of the flats look like just the place to flee to, not that fleeing would do any good.
Yer right - Godzilla has kicked the Lambretta over :worried::worried:

Not a lot of excitement here, but sometimes you have to do the less scenic bits
Across from the cinema, and the railway terrace, is a spot like so.. you can see the public toliets in place ,but nothing else..20230407_194248.jpg

So we make a pavement area, and add details ect 20230518_105712.jpg20230518_134156.jpg20230518_141255.jpg

Weather played nicely ...and so the installation, remove cinema, replace road surfac going under railway through the road tunnel, add pavement to suit, add a extra power feed, for a yet to be built advertising bill bord, fit new toilets and re fit cinema 20230519_114237.jpg20230519_154146.jpg20230519_154119.jpg20230519_215325.jpg20230519_215151.jpg20230519_214938.jpg

i just feel to say this:
my first impression of your "world" was "oh, what a shitty water"
but over time it grew on me (not the water, but everything else).

in the last months i even repeatedly caught myself fighting bad moods by simply opening this thread at random points and simply disfruting the pics (without reading the texts)

THANK YOU for sharing your world with us.
