Have you tried the sound?

In these models it could be a bit hit or miss. I was lucky and have one of the good ones - the noise is spectacular, and loud - the volume control doesn't do a thing !!

The "Freight Depot actually houses the controls and a 12 volt battery which powered the track and the board.

The water mill is a "third phase" development and the water is pumped from the pond to the top of the mountain some of the water makes the stream and some is diverted to the mill.

Hi. The Circus loco was sold "without sound or smoke" but the tender looks complete - maybe the loco needs new wires as the originals are missing. I was going to test the tender on the other loco. Yes the sound is quite good - I like the way the whistle goes in forward motion and the bell sounds when in reverse! The volume control works OK on my Buddy L.

Like the Reliant Mick. I used to hurtle through the Essex backwaters in one of these in the 70's with a milk float body.Not very handy going over cattle grids though.

Hi Stuart - how are you? There is a lot of history in this particular vehicle. When new it was a road sweeper and like many of its ilk, it gained a second life (as an artic!). This was not your usual (BTB design) swan-neck trailer but a flat bed. When I received it, it was a rolling chassis (and cab) which was truly rolling - no brakes- and in a bad state. I restored it to a pick-up because the authorities here had no category (so they said) to classify for taxation purposes. I had to re-extend the chassis before I could build the body. It does run and is taxed and insured but, lamentably, It stays mainly in the garage.
