Lacquer bloom

Just sprayed up some white metal buffers and thought I'll put a coat of lacquer on to protect them...
The lacquer has dried with a white bloom.

I guess this my fault for spraying outside at dusk and I've got water in it.

So how do I get rid of it?

I think you may have to remove it and start again.

Try using a hair dryer and gentley heat if there not more than a couple of days old?

That's worth a try.

If not can I use fine wet and dry to rub down the lacquer or is there a better way of stripping it off?
