Just Discovered Scarm For Design Of Micro Layout

I have heard of SCARM several times in my travels, but never tried it. It is great, easy to use, free and includes all the G-scale track pieces I have ever heard of. I think the best feature is the 3D viewer, especially when you have multiple layers and want to hide fiddle yards with buildings. Here's an example of what I am planning:

I've never had a track plan in my life. When I started the CFR it was all trial and error, dig out a bit here, lay some track there see how it goes. Great fun and an adventure.

Ah, you'd never get away with that now Casey....

Cost benefit analysis. Method statements. Hazard assessments and the like..

Hmmm, it appears that SCARM is only available for Windoze machines..... I don't suppose there is a version anywhere for those of us who use Macs? :mad:

Looks like your best bet is to run it on Windows under Mac using Parallels.
Other people have used Wine (no jokes please) but there is a problem with the 3D viewer which is the best part of the tool IMHO.
