On a side project I had some pictures of a Ash pit I built. Concrete and wood trestle. It looked better before the Matt finish was applied. But it needs it for outdoors I think not sure.
I like the project. I have made some Jigstone buildings using the quick setting tubs of cement from Wicks. As for the sand I have used the dried sand that block paving firms use to brush inbetween the blocks when they finish off. It is a very fine grade and I have found it works well.
That provides me with another thought. Over here we have Postcrete, a very rapid setting fine concrete mix for setting fence posts (and it is quick!) I wonder how that would fair in these moulds???
Went back to a unfinished project . Got some more work done. Got the concrete roof peices on and painted. Some doors and windows installed Just about done.
