If anything it will be easier to separate. Copper slip or whatever , it just keeps corrosion at bay for few years meaning joints stay more conductive longer
As the guys above have said, graphite is super-slippy. I recently lifted my track which had been laid using the original LGB fishplates and their graphite grease and after seven or eight years outside was as good as new.
