Back again, after a while off due to all sorts of circumstances.

I have a '8' shaped layout on the G scale garden mainly scratchbuilt, and supposedly somewhere in Colorado, but without the elevation!

The big DSP&P 2 8 6 (Denver) in the photos is one of my loco's, being scratchbuilt, with transfers from the USA.

I live on the east side of Manchester.

Yours Peter Bunce

Hi Peter

Than must have been quite traumatic for you, I was circumstanced as a baby so I didn't know anything about it.

The big Mason bogie is a work of art - not my cup of tea, but an impressive model all the same :clap::clap:

Hi Peter, Re CCRR7, yes the heart of the loco is a bachmann drive unit from the 4 6 0. Actually there were two built, the other is Denver & South Park RR number 1, which was called 'Fairplay'which is a town at almost 10,000 feet elevation.

No operating RR there now as far I know, but the town is still thriving, thogh I would not like the wather they must have!

Attatched is a photo of 'Fairplay, with a a coach from a Mylaragescale.com kit; there is still a couple to build.
