Hi!, I'm back and I've had planning permission!

OK, I know.... I'm a fair weather G scaler, sorry :(
I did naff all over winter (and never even had chance to run stuff!) but now that the weather is better, I started clearing all the weeds etc. I just happened to mention to SWMBO that I'd like to increase the railway a bit - and OMG, she said 'That's a good idea.' at which point I had to sit down.

Anyway, the old one (just to remind you):

And the extended area with track just laid on the grass:

It was only the addition of 4 x 1200 and 4 x 600 tracks that gave me all this. I'm now working on laying it properly and fill the centre bit with 'interesting' stuff.

Oh, and we've had 2 new grandsons, so I'm busy building 2 more locos. Well, you got to have a loco named after every one of your grandkids, haven't you? :rolf: :thumbup:
 
Good to see the new plan, best not to sit down too long though, just in-case 'minds change'

Absolutely !!! Enjoy 'em while they're young.
Amazing what difference a relatively small extension can make to your railway.
