Please help i need to get my Loco Remote Maxi app set up on my phone but cannot seem to do it.
Do you mean ‘switch on’? This link may help. After turning on the maxi, you then need to switch off the Wi-Fi on your phone and allow the phone to connect to the maxi signal.
I have two of these, and don't have any issues:Do you mean ‘switch on’? This link may help.

Ah that sounds better, similar to my Z21 that creates its own WiFi hub.I have two of these, and don't have any issues:
On my phone, I disable my home wi-fi, and then I get a lit of other networks available, I connect to the one Loco XXXX (I have now renamed it), once it is connected, I open my browser, and navigate to 192.168.4.1, the loco remote control page comes up and off I go.
The instructions are quite clear, but they MUST be followed line by line (until you know what you are doing), and it works.
Choppercook exactly what have you done, and which part are you having problems with.
Yep, that is it exactly, I have a number of devices that are similar, but it seems to catch a few people out, often reading and misinterpreting the instruction, the fact you need to disconnect from your home networkAh that sounds better, similar to my Z21 that creates its own WiFi hub.
If it has the pins for lights and sound, because you bought that model, just follow the instructions, however, if it did not come with the light and sound pins, that is it.Thanks every one I got the program and the loco runs well , just have to find out how to add lights and sound
Agree with Phil, I have the on board sound (which I found disappointing), but there are three boards stacked, just follow the instructions, you just need to plug your speaker in.If you bought a Maxi with internal sound:
It should have come as a 'stack' of boards. - You only get horns with this option, and just plug an 8 ohm speaker to the board.
If you chose an external soundcard, was it a MyLocoSound? - This would probably have eight wires:
Two to power the card. - Can come from your battery, after the switch.
Two would go to the motor. - To sense the speed.
Two to the speaker. - So you can hear it.
And two would be triggers, for horn/whistle, and 'something-else'.
