Help Needed! Getting Navigator to work on RC.....?

In very much related issues, and sorry to jump in on the thread, I'm looking for some advise on Massoth R/C issues.
I'm running an MTS 3 with Massoth Nav and wireless receiver. It used to work great but now it struggles to keep in communication even when I'm less than a meter away. I've tried all 4 channels, checked the sender is plugged in correctly inside the Nav, tried moving the receiver further away from the transformer, but nothing seems to make a difference. For several years it has worked quite happily from the top of the garden back to the house to now where its basically unusable in R/C mode... Has anybody else had issues like this?

Hi Andy,
Is it possible the antenna in the receiver has come out of its little socket? You might want to check that it's inserted properly.

Glad you found it Jon. What a bugger.

Yes, it was.... if the red light on the receiver hadn't been on, I'd have immediately realised that it wasn't talking to the 1200Z properly... but there was obviously enough of a connection to power it up and thus light the LED, but it wasn't carrying the data signal properly - hence the Navvy wasn't getting any feedback from the loco and thought that it wasn't available.

Just one of those ridiculous little problems that don't make any sense, then the solution turns out to be so simple! In this case it was made worse by it being an intermittently dodgy connection rather than a complete failure, so sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't....

Jon.
