Hello from the southwest high desert

I recently found this forum, while I have been garden railroading for a few years I still have lots to learn about the hobby. I enjoy modeling railroads from the Mid-west where I grew up. my current layout is in need of some refreshing, and some much needed maintanence. I am glad to be here.

Gosh I'm up late. Welcome from the West Well Railroad, here in the UK, Dan. Been at this garden railway lark for around 20 years, not long after I moved out to the countryside, and still learning. I run British/Colonial (what, no empire ?) and US 3ft gauge D&RGW/Logging. About 40/60. The alternative was a outdoors London Underground layout, I grew up an inner city kid in London. But I thought better of it as the local moles might have objected, they're all a bit NIMBY. We like pictures here and beware the humour round here. Max

Welcome to the Forum, Dan. Just remember that there is no such thing as a daft question on here, (although you may well get some daft answers) and that between us we have probably made most mistakes once, and sometimes several times!

Welcome Dan. Like most things, you'll never know everything about the hobby, as there's many, many best ways of doing things! And of course a fair few ways no-one would advise you to try. We like pictures and progress reports. The humour has been mentioned.
