Having problems uploading photos to the Forum 'buildings and Lineside'

Can not seem to be able to upload photos to the forum 'Buildings and Lineside'.
Tried all sizes but will not accept them.

Tried another forum section with same photos and that was okay so it seems only this one is affected.

Just in case this has been passed over by the management.
Still having problems with this particular forum section 'buildings and lineside' but not others.....
Is it set up for photo upload?
Is my user somehow restricted with this section?

That is exactly the same message I get when I try to upload photos anywhere on this site via Firefox. This has been going on for some considerable time for me. I'm glad you posted that Mike. Firefox works OK with all other sites and I have no problem reading or replying on here apart from pics.

I don't like Chrome (or Google in general) so FF is my preferred browser.

The problem happens in Chrome and Firefox for me....... just this particular section of GSC 'Buildings Bridges and Lineside'..... all other sections of GSC seem to be fine for photo uploading just this one is a problem........really weird....

What is the EXACT filename Mick. - Then we can rule that out..

Other 'non-alphanumeric' characters can cause problems with some systems as well.. From memory, a hyphen (dash) is OK, but an under-score is not..

The photos in question, with spaces in the filenames, uploaded fine to all other sections. It is only the 'Buildings, Bridges and lineside' which had the problem.
If the space in the photo file name was a problem with the forum software, surely then it would be affecting the other sections. .....

I have tried making a 'phantom' posting again and the photos now upload, with a space in the filename or without.
It works on both Chrome and Firefox
So I imagine that you have done a tweak to get this section working like the rest Paul...

Unfortunately I had entered the text for the posting three times and lost it three times so will leave it.
It will go to my railroad's Facebook page
