hand made curved points

Hi Dud,

i hope u didnt get me wrong.
If your test were ok, so its ok, no question.
It was just that on the pics it looked like the guardrails had different distances to the rails and the inner guard seemed to be a bit unparallel to the rail it flanks.

As i made very bad experiences with the guardrails of LGB switches, i just thought to tell about the dificility of the guardrail-case in general.
Just as a tip.

I really didnt want to pull out the fun.
I really didnt want show off the niggler.....

I want to remind at this point that i just have some school-english to post here, and i fear there are some points were the things "between the lines" are to be taken wrong.

No, really:
As i told:
That is a wonderful piece of work, no question at all. I just wanted to give u a hint about the fizzeling work of guardrail-adjustment. it would be a pitty, if that would have caused derailments, bringing some anger over this work.

I hope this can clear the dust....
(but maybe i got it wrong on my side, thinking there is a problem...sometimes the understanding of a foreign language reaches borders....

Greetings
Frank

No problem, thanks frank, your English is better than my German will ever be.

Dudley, Dudley, Dudley... that is impressive, most impressive..... I can see I should have subcontracted you to make my points....

Lovely! I've recently bought some of those G45 bits as I want something with a larger radius than the standard 4' but haven't made a start yet. What are the radii of your curved point please?

Rob

I made the smaller radius slightly larger than peco standard four foot. I believe I made the outside radius six feet., thanks for the interest.
