Hi James, essentially yes to all the above, it was really a bit of a play/experiment just to see what happened. The inbuilt flash is (to me) the only down side of the Canon camera I use, a decent flash setup like I have for my good old 35mm would cost as much again as the camera. Might try using my builders portable lighting, though they would need some defusing, hmm I wonder....jameshilton said:John it sounds very relaxing.
Have you considered using spot lights / torches etc or even a slave flash for night-time photography? Your recent photos aren't bad, but not up to the quality of your daytime shots - and I think because the light source is in the same place as the camera (i.e. the flash)?
