Hi Henri, yes as Alan said it's a Regner Otto. Funnily enough Hannah & Michelle both have loco's with LGB Otto running gear and new bodies. Otto's are not safe from major changes on the H&MGR :giggle:

Of course since I developed this cunning plan to turn Otto into a bush tramway loco Regner have brought out their Henri loco which isn't to far away from the look I've given Otto. Darn.

2018 New Years Day start here with a joint run with Otto and our Simplex. Credit for all of today's photos goes to Hannah, assisted by Gingerbread the cat.
So we'll start with Otto for Henri ;)

Simplex over Puddle Pond bridge....

...and approaching the Y junction from under the lemon bush leg of the Y.

Jumping back a day Manawanui ending 2017. It has been out of action for most of 2017 due to stripped gears. Took a while to sort replacement ones, but The Train Department came through and were able to supply new ones. I think it's running better now than it ever was, has been worth the wait.
Here passing over a new retaining wall build adjacent to the Bridge Ganger's hut.

Up over Nina's Trestle

Under Junction bridge

And back over Puddle Pond bridge.

Yeah, while it's still a bit bleak mid winter up here, it reminds you why garden railways are such fun :clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

Wow, how slack, I haven't updated this topic for nearly half a year. Hmm

Namu is a DJB coal fired saddle tank kit with the upper half of the cab my own make up to I hope look more like something at home in NZ.

And over downhill over Nina's Trestle.

Nice to see some winter sun, and steam in the sun to boot!

Smells and sounds as good as it looks.

Great set of piccies, John. I had been wondering what was happening. Really enjoyed the video. I do like to see a mixed good winding through the undergrowth.
