Yes pauly those are great shots, an old wagon disapearing in greenery- and just the rail heads showing- do trains run ok through there- are you track power?

yeah my trains all run fine through it, my locos are all live steam or battery so I dont have to worry about dirty track.

Gizzy thanks for re-igniting this thread. I had forgotten about my little addition to this at Post 36, was a nice reminder of a past line that I pulled up. Sadly my new line has not reached any level of dereliction like this yet. But in time the Rockeries will.

Not a problem with an indoor layout, but I do make sure that substitute artificial planting leads to a slightly overgrown look. Beware of "bits" becoming caught in locomotive driving wheels ..... :-\

I don't mind the moss and small flowering weeds that grow between the rails. What I have to keep in check is the Perywinkle whose vines grow like they're on Viagra, across the rails.
