Gradients when laying track

Hows this idea for extra traction on a gradient adding a motor block to the tender of a loco . I have a O gauge Rivarossi Indiana Harbor Belt switcher which has a booster on its tender for added traction when switching heavy loads not sure if many other locos had these but may still look good on a small switcher .

Hi Richie

Have got one in process adding a block to a Bachmann Connie tender. It should help the old girl!
I tried one with an Annie tender but it just did not look right so the Annie relies on supplementary motorized stock car or box car.
Bachmann stock cars are the easiest as the floor can be raised or lowered to allow for the deeper motor block proportions. As long as bogie swing is enough for the radius curves that i have then no alteration has to be done to the main part of the car body. Also the coupling can be body mounted or even attached to the motor block.
