Forum back to normal

P.C W10, I.E.(latest).

Works Ok on Firefox.

I've given up with the tablet I keep dabbing the wrong things. I looked on the phone and decided not to bother, can't see enough to make sense of it.

Edit. Just noticed my profile avatar on the header bar is just a box with a cross?

Avatar looks fine, back end of a loco apparently, a little dark.

So, this new site software is "responsive" I just tested with my phone and this post is from my LG G6 and I see everything just fine including the forum list what phone are you using and what browser?

Avatar (front end of a Garratt, actually) in the posts is fine, it's the 'profile' one, and The G-scale Central on the header that are just boxed crosses. Beginning to think it's a setting, but no idea where to even start looking.

Tried logging out, P.C. restart before logging back in from the browser rather than the desktop icon. No change.

I'm not fussed about looking on my phone, it's far too slow anyway. ("time I had a new one" says 'Trousers')

Think I'll just go and play test some trains.

Yeah, you might need a forced refresh on your browser, the browser cache survives a reboot... and browsers are not always smart when to reload a page... also the "refresh button" does not always refresh the page... if the browser thinks the page has not changed, it will refresh the page from its cache. On FireFox, the forced refresh is control-shift-r ....

I learned a lot having my own web site, make a change and then test to see the changes and would not see them... forced refresh solved my issues, but I use FF almost exclusively.

Regards, Greg

Ctrl and f5 for I.E. No diff.

Edit, Just tried Ctrl and refresh and got the header back but not Forum List. That's still unformatted and way to the left.

Edit edit. Sorted. Repeated the above a couple of times and it eventually straightened itself out. Cheers Greg, I've learned a new trick. Unfortunately, like Mick, I will probably forget it again.
