Although the mag is an American one, I have always found that the planting section, with its 'zone' info, is always very helpful and great for ideas on scale planting.
This months (February) edition has a lot more than usual with some being shown on reader's layouts.
Real scale plants, while taking a bit of time to 'keep in scale' really do add something to the whole feel of a layout.
Plastic is fine in moderation but you just can't beat real.
