Is there a section were we should be posting events?

Put it in 'General g Scale'.
There is a 'post new event' button as well as a 'post new thread'. If you use the 'post new event' button it should add it to the calendar but I am not sure its working too well at the moment.

or as Gizzy said - that areat also has a 'post new event' button.

'We' don't seem to use the calendar feature on the Forum very much..

I believe there are problems with how it works, and our understanding of same??

The General G Scale area does at least allow follow-up postings, and the opportunity for post-event pictures..
