A little bizarre, but I love them!! Very nice craftsman ship as ever. Now scrartch build a UK loco go pull them! They will be very welcome at my open day.
Looking good and im sure they'll be derailed many times over with your driving Dave :rofl::rofl:
And you could pull them with a class 37 as Ian riley has repainted 37518(in my avatar) into intercity colours and should be on the mainline soon!!!:D

Wow Dave, those IC coaches are err, very different!

Not a critism though by any means; a great paint job....

Thanks for the replies.
There is a cunning back story, which fits these and my Virgin Liveried LCE train together.
It involves DB taking over the British railway during the 1980's and sending their stock over.

Its not that fictional as DB are now running most of our railways so it works for me. ;)

Finally we start to get some paint on. Make sure that you've got all the T-Cut off, then rough the surface up slightly with fine emery cloth, sandpaper or even a scotchbrite pad

You're then ready to get to work with your primer.

Well, having read through this I am inspired, I have a couple of Bachmann (Jackson Sharp) that have been previously "played with", I already have LGB couplings and Bachmann wheels ready to go on a some detailing parts, and one is stripped ready for painting - must "pull my finger out"

[I know this is a very old thread that's come back to life.....]

I guess you could even postulate that Operation Sealion worked, and the DR (DRG?) took over the British railway network a little earlier, in 1941.....
