Having been up and running for over a year I decided to make a few alterations, the sun was shining and there's a long weekend next week so best get on with it
No photos showing before but in the "bottom and right hand side was double tracked going to single track at the left hand side to come behind the garden store.............
Well the garden store was emptied, old track removed and the store was pushed back. A shelf was constructed, suitable holes were cut and track layed, the opportunity was taken to double the track a little more
You can see where the buffer stop is,that was the end of the line
The store now doubles as a tunnel thus it had to be painted black, with under shelf storage for some of the junk
With out track
Are you getting the idea now??
And the end result is a tunnel which needs some detail to hide the fact its just a hole in a plastic box
I just need to wire up the points and reverse loop but that's a job for next week along with plenty of testing
I have some thick plastic sheeting if you want some to make tunnel mouths? Ex Laura Ashley display. Cuts reasonably easy with a Stanley Knife and a steel rule.
