DP1

I was just about to commend you on an excellent job of forming the metal for the nose, or bonnet as you put it. Then I saw your photo and explanation of how you made the bonnet. Very resourceful, if I may say. I like your framing method of building.

Hi Soeren - I was commenting recently in some other thread about how I thought that - whether or not something was expensive, or cheap, or affordable - it was perhaps value for money that was the most important factor.

And bearing in mind your comments about how much your loco has cost, and the resourcefulness you've obviously put into it - I would say your beautiful Deltic is one of the best value for money projects I've seen on this site.

Well done! - fantastic job! .... ;D

Hi John,

thanks for your encouraging comment :D

I´m also of the mind that the 100 GBP I spend (& hundreds of hour work)
turned out to a prensentable result ;) ;) ;)

Kind regards

Soeren

P.S. I finally found out that my DP is 1.4 cm to wide (that´s happening when you´ve got only
pics to work with) but what the heck ! :D :D :D

Very nice indeed, a fine job you have done there ;D

Long time on the workbench, but the results were certainly worth it :o

Hello,

thanks for the lovely comments.
When I´ll get the chance to come over to UK this year or in 2016 I´ll
take her with me to let her run on some garden tracks ;) ;) ;)

Kind regards

Soeren
