OK, so I think I could buy a Piko diamond for about £30 - does anybody have a diamond crossing that they are wanting to get rid of (at something less than £30)? No not £29.99 either

I'd be interested to see one of these, as the LGB 13000 ones are 'handed' for left points, with the diagonal road longer than the straight.

Unfortunately, we won't be seeing one yet, as the power of the forum has struck again, and second hand LGB one is on the way to me.

I'm not too fussed about the geometry, as I'm proposing to do a 'Skagway Junction' look alike, and will probably have to engage the services of Mr Hacksaw

Joking apart, I hacked a LGB one myself to make it right handed so it is possible....

I have a left-handed hammer..
Really, the rubber grip has twisted due to use on large wire nails, and the head is now really on the p*ss if a Righty picks it up!

Although LGB and Aristo track is quite robust, I'll refrain from contacting our hammer throwers

I was thinking more of hacking plain track, rather than hacking the crossing - I might even have a little play around this weekend
