Dunno if these guys have anything useful for you, but I have used them for gears to sort out an LGB porter a year or so ago.

Many thanks for all the help, order placed. Was it the gear on a wheel you replaced? Id be interested to know what type you borght as in the future i'd like to be able to re-gauge some LGB motor blocks.
 
Yes, an axle gear had worn out on a Toytrain Porter. I used two gears on the axle, glued together to create the required thickness. It turned out that the gears I used were 1 tooth different, which meant I needed to replace the gear on both axles so they matched (good job I bought 4 pairs of worm and gear, although I didn't need the worms)

I think I wrote it all up on a thread somewhere, I'll try and find it.
