Here’s some photos of my equipment storage. Please share any ideas or suggestions. Did i forget anything? This junction box will be the first in line; what if i wanted to move the cabinet to a different spot. Would that be possible?

I do have a plate that gets suspended in the junction box that the terminal blocks will be attached to

Neat job, movement to a different spot would be possible if the external wires were long enough. But otherwise cable runs would need to be adapted for the new location. Finally if this is a real possibility, annotating the cables and spots for them on the box would be a good plan.

I may be over thinking. I’m not sure why i thought i would need to move the equipment cabinet. It was just on my mind. I guess if the issue did come up i could move the cabinet and just reposition the first junction box?

If you do want to move the box to different spots around the layout perhaps a few connection points scattered around might be the way to go.
Something like this, of course you may have to investigate if you can leave the outlets unterminated or maybe make a terminator plug for the unused ones.
Just plug in the controller wherever you want to control from eg one in a shed for hot days and out in the garden for sunny days.
I had something similar to this on my small HO layout using a NCE Powercab
Just food for thoughtDCC .jpg
