Trying to figure out if I can run my DC Crossing Gate. With my newly converted DCC stainz. DCC is a giant leap forward in the realism on our layouts!

You should be able to with a DC power supply. I run DC (battery power) light on my station whilst running the trains and point on DCC.

With the caviat, of don't interconnect both the Dc and DCC supplies.

Agree with Nod, run a separate bus for DC accessories, whether DC or DCC, is best practise....

I assume you have a separate DCC controller? If so as Gordon above says so long as the xing power is from your DC controller shown no issues will arise.

You could also just attach a bridge rectifier to the DC input of the crossing gate and attach that to the DCC track, just check the voltage ratings and make sure you are within its specified range.

Thanks to all for the reply's. I will hook it up no worries. Though I will pursue a Bridge Rectifier. It would de-clutter the wiring I assume. More later
