"Background Noise"..Does anyone know what may cause the MFX Grundrauschen part to fluctuate so much?
Nothing to be overly concerned about...Hmmmmm, there's no train on the track, and the tracks very clean. All rail clamped. Just seems odd watching it fluctuate. Is it something to worry about, or normal? For all I know, it's been like it for years.
Thanks for that, reassuring.Nothing to be overly concerned about...
The track acts like a long-wire aerial, and is down near the ground in an electrically 'dirty' environment.
We live in a fog of electrical signals and noise.. It is just recording the fact.

That explains why my ancient (ok, 27 years old) RCS rc install instructions are telling me to attach the RX's ariel to a redundant track pickup. The RCS unit was salvaged from my similar vintage, all metal, RGS Goose #7. One pick up only mind you, as the others have been removed as we do not want to complete the circuit. Never complete the circuit otherwiseNothing to be overly concerned about...
