Garden Railways, Model making
I know this should be in kit bash but it will only allow me to upload 1 photo.
Chris and I went to Llanfair met a few of you there and got my badge and a fantastic day, even found gluten free sandwiches and cake in the café which made Chris very happy ,managed to find one lil and a coach ,really wanted two lils for my other project ,I have been following one of the threads on here concerning the articulated engine and coach and thought I would have a go myself something different for my railway remembering it had to run on first radius points and track .
The kit bash so far

Re:coffee potish

Graham,
the articulated bug has struck you. They are fun builds, but you have put me to shame. I have six articulated coach builds mechanically finished to the point of painting and alas they are sitting there staring forlornly at me, neglected. I have completed a few previously but alas no longer in my possession.

My excuse has been that I need to get decoders first before stripping for painting them. A lame excuse I know, but they WILL be finished.

Edit: post editted as I actually have six articulated builds (not counting the two Garratt builds also mechanically completed but needing paint) awaiting patiently for painting.

Re:coffee potish

A very nice job! Very "coffee pot" You must be chuffed with the result, especially as you seemingly can post pics..... for those who are interested here is the real one; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SdtLy8CaEew

Re:coffee potish

tried to reply but it cut me off the forum .
so here goes .thanks for your comments .I like odd and strange things I got my inspiration from you tube and the forum I can see a few more of these happening I like things which articulate so if anyone else has got some pictures would be grateful . I will post a final photo when I have it on the track

Brilliant prototype and a really attractive model.
Thanks also for the link to the video Trev.

Re:coffee potish

I said I would post this when I had it running ,as with all my locos I have fitted a isolating switch and it copes very nicely with my first radius points .

well this the end of coffee pot build but I do not think it is the end of my fascination with articulated engines .
