I have been wanting to build this little chappie for some time.........I have taken the plunge and using a Bachmann gandy dancer as the chassis I constructed a body from plasticard.......but it didn't look right, too clinical........so I decided to cover it in modelling clay..........now its starting to look the part........lots to do yet but we'll get there in the end...........:bigsmile:

Looks great. Can you get a soundcard that goes "Pishticuff, Pishticuff, Pishticuff" and wistle the right bass notes to accompany the local chior.
Max.

What's that I spy in the top-right corner of [strike]Wale [/strike]sorry, the pictures?

I want one.. There was a 'something' advertised as an 'Ivor the engine' kit on evilBay a while back. Went for a silly amount IMHO.

Lots of other I could choose from as well!
:clap::D

Innovative and nicely detailed for a pottery locomotive.... I am suitably impressed with the cleanliness and "order' in your work space too......

Cracking.

I still have the Locolines kit in bits in a jiffy bag. I found it pretty pants I'm afraid so never really finished it. The printing peeled away from the card once you had cut out the parts.

I always had the intention of building it in plasticard instead using the Locolines chassis and fittings. This may be just the inspiration I need.
