Chevrons for diesel boxcab

Fred, there's a stack of car trim tapes, all different widths, on Ebay (UK). Thanks to the advice of someone on here, I got some 3mm wide for a loco I am messing with at the moment. The American Ebay must have loads on there? Peel the back off and stick it on. Dead easy.

Hal, as I mentioned, I have no desire to spend all day trying to line up stripes in a V pattern. But thanks for the thought.

playmofire, those look like what I need - as long as they are wide enough. I'll have to ask the seller.

There's also a 'gauge-1' transfer sheet on Fox-transfers website, but again I don't know if it will work in 16mm scale. I sent them a message.

In 16mm they are VERY small. However, I have a friend who runs a vinyl sign business who made me a batch of larger formatted bumble-bee stripes for my onw use and to sell at a recent exhibition. They all sold in ten minutes.

Guess I'll have to ask him again - so don't despair. All you have to do is to cut them to size and trim them to fit.

See them 'in action' on my Hungarian narrow gauge trainset -
