I expect most people have seen these train sets in supermarkets this is one I got years ago for xmas and what made me pursued G scale, As it ain't to bad a runner I have planned to repaint it (Which I have about 4 times) Finally got something that I like based on a Colarado and Southern Mogul.. It ain't exactly the same but it'll do for me, I've added a few bits as you can see taken that was taken from a Big Hauler, Its not finished but I was wondering if anyone else has messed around with these? I was wondering if it would be possible to turn one in to a 2-8-0.

I had a couple of these cheepie Locs some years back. I thought that they were pretty goid runners, but I think that they need a cheepo RC to get the best out of them.

Tender has some new wheels.. I'm going to make the coal bunker taller and add a few other bits. Considering buying two of these locos to see if its possible to turn one in to a 2-8-0.

So you don't own an English car? I've got a Jaguar, a 1/2" socket set, a ton of spanners, boxes full of tools and at the last count 3 cans of WD40. There again I used to be in the Scouts 'Be prepared' :tmi:

That is bad luck! Normally, it is only the wheels that go flat.. Even on a British car!
