The Welsh station buildings have returned to the CFR:-

The weeds are taking over during the lockdown.

It’s 10pm and Hermes have just delivered another parcel from those good people at ModelTown. I will be unpacking the parcel in the morning.

Had a Parcel Force delivery at 07:14 this morning.. We were out delivering the papers, so it was left on the front doorstep, with a 'green-waste' wheelie bin pushed-up against it..

Looked most odd, when we returned from the round..

Box unpacked:-

I have stone walls, a water tower, a ground level signalbox and platforms.
First task is to wash all the mouldings and then let them dry.
Second task will be to prime and undercoat the mouldings.

Very Cool, I am really enjoying watching the progress with your project Casey. A great effort with promoting our hobby to the public. You have given me some inspiration to complete some of my buildings I started a while ago.

Indeed it is Sean. But I’ve just been informed that the latest buildings need to join the others back at the CFR along with some of my tools. I don’t want to push my luck, there will be some more buildings to do in a week or so.

The new buildings arrive at the CFR:-

The large continental Signalbox stood on this site now re-occupied by the new Signalbox.

Temporary site for the new station. Another Signalbox will be required to replace the St Bernards one.

That turnout on the upper level must scare the daylights out of the engineer! Is that a washout, or the future site of a purpose built culvert?

Greg. Part of the embankment fell away during track modification. It will be reinstated as soon as possible.
