Can anyone Identify these????

Getting to the end of my clear out, I found 4 sealed sets of these couplers consisting of 1 hook - 1 loop - 1 spring 2 blocks and 3 screws

Anyone know what make and or what for???????????????

Pretty sure they're LGB, but I don't recognise the block part.


Possibly it could be used to mount an optional coupling, such as the front of a steam loco with a dismountable snow plough, or a diesel with a dummy front coupling.


Not sure why there'd be two though.

The blocks are Bachmann Thomas range fittings for lowering to LGB height!

I agree with Palmerston,there bachmann coupling lowering blocks as used on the Thomas range.

There also needed for their lil big hauler range
