Dan they should be just a bulb and 2 wires what can go wrong ? They look N.O.S as he has 10 of them,....... But the seller seems a bit of a rouge if you ask me from the look of his feedback and doesnt go much on customer satisfaction,

There's been another thread (maybe GSM) about repairs.

My experience has been of a rather flimsy plastic, the top being easily broken while changing bulbs.

This little disaster was easliy repaired with a spigot of brass tube.

My lamps have since been replaced by the "30 Garden Lights" LED type.
Not as nice looking, but more practical.

they are good.I tend to insert a bit of steel wire into the ground, leave a good bit showing and lower the lamps on to this to hold in place. Bulb changing is a pain and ive had a few that the bulbs have poor contact it- a quick tap on them solves the issue most of the time. They are good for the price and not more to scale than the LGB ones in my view.

Thank you for the input. I have purchased from this guy in the past with good results, although I have seen posts on Mylargescale.com about him. It seems that he had a not so good streak some time back.
