You'll not regret it Neil - a lovely loco. Now if you want to come down here in your motorvan, park up in the paddock (electrical hook up and fresh water available) and take up a shovel, whilst the rest of the family go sightseeing, you'll be most welcome. Pond has been enlarged now so radio control model ships are go. You know where we are........

No mention so far, of Blue Pills & Heffalumps!

The end of 2005 and into 2006 saw the Bredebahn reach its' final form. A new "No 2" route was constructed.

Brilliant John. I seem to remember some later developments - like a double slip!:thumbup:

Thanks John - appreciated. Not sure where our travels will take us this year, depends on the weather! Much easier to follow the weather with the van, than the trailer tent. I have to duck out of shovelling though, my hip would fall off completely I think! :@

Now, I'm sure Alan is correct about that slip.... ;)

That Austrian under the rocks is a brilliant photo John.

Did someone mention long trains? The 4/4 I looked good with the scale length Kiss coaches. The calendar has turned into 2007 now and the final track layout is in place.....

The double slip has been introduced - an incredibly useful bit of pointwork, but a shame that it was never made to a greater radius - this reintroduced R1 curves to the Bredebahn on diverging routes. It was planned that most movements treated this as a diamond crossing to avoid the limitations.
There was visiting motive power - Troy's magnificent handbuilt London trams (watch the clearances!) - and new motive power in the shape of the GE4/4 III (this loco replaced a previous MOB version).

And so to 2008. That final year saw visitors from the railway up the road owned and run by Stockers.....
