Just seen an advert for this, and though 1.1A is not enough for G Scale generally, just woundered if something of a highrt amperage is available:

You can run A train (well, a small one) with it...

There is also Bluerail out there.. Any number of home-made versions, as well..
Big problem with Bluetooth, is range..
