Binding Roundhouse Lady Anne with Deltang Transmitter?

I would love to replace the standard issue Roundhouse Exmitter EX7 model aircraft transmitter with my much more portable TX22, which I use with my battery loco.

Does anyone know if the TX22 can bind with the EX7 receiver?

I have tried but failed to do it.

If not, I’m prepared to replace the receiver with the Deltang RX65, but I’m very wary of dismantling Lady Anne.

Any guidance will be much appreciated.

Deltang Tx's can only be bound to Rx's using DSM2 protocols.
Use a an Rx102-1(AB) not the Rx-65. It was designed for driving servos.

Further to Tony's comment..
The 'Selecta' function is DT's 'unique-selling-point'.. Any other DSM receiver will respond to all Selecta positions on the transmitter.

The Rx102 should (more or less) be a straight-swap.

Many thanks for your prompt and very helpful replies - much appreciated.

I suspected I would need a Deltang receiver.

The good news is that when I referred to my Roundhouse Owners Handbook it clearly states how to remove the body (disconnect the battery lead plug, then 2 screws, 2 nuts) and it's now removed.

My particular thanks go to PhilP (RCTrains) with whom I've done business before. I had the pleasure of speaking with Phil this afternoon and he's supplying me with the Rx102 and he's provided me with valuable guidance on its connections.
